Melbourne Collection 🚃

Our production journey is a unique one. I learnt to design and sew bags in Melbourne on yotube, and began selling in small markets.

As BeeKeeper Parade grew 🌱, I needed to find help. But no factory or manufacturer in Australia would even consider upcycling people's shirts into bags (Our first design!). It is why I went to live in Cambodia for 2 years (where I was born and where our schools are built) to create our own production team, starting with one woman. This has grown to 14 people now ✌️

However, I have always dreamt of having a production team in Melbourne too. And we are getting closer to that point. As we grow as a business, we are starting to have funds to invest in such a big task 🚃

I am super excited to introduce our Melbourne Collection! We rent out a corner of a warehouse in Thomastown, plus my home studio and set-up production here too. Slowly but surely. We will write a proper in depth blog about this journey and where our future goals are ✨

But for now, we will be dropping our Melbourne Collection here. So come back often as new things will keep appearing. This includes our leather collection I am working on too ❤️
